This is a semi-abandoned truck on Pine Island, Florida. I was in Florida with my brother and step mom. My Dad had passed away a month before. We came down to help out. The trucks don't have anything to do with my dad - it wouldn't have been something that would have particularly interested him (although we shared a love of cars). Winter 2010.

To me this looks like a set - not real - maybe it's just that the idea of snow and ice seems so foreign now that it's May - or the lighting. ?

I've had intentions to do a photo project of televisions out of their normal environments - this often means on the street. Originally it was to be a stand alone project - but for now I'll include it on the blog.
